T2 return with schedules and year-end adjustments for your corporation, plus planning for salary, dividends and instalments.
What's included
- Corporate income tax returns (T2)
- Financial statement preparation
- Corporate year-end accounting
- General ledger and account reconciliation
- Corporate tax planning and advisory
- Shareholder loan reconciliation
- Dividend and salary planning
- Corporate tax amendments
- Tax compliance and CRA correspondence
- Inactive and newly incorporated companies
Key dates
- Six months after your year-end: T2 return due (for a December 31 year-end, June 30, 2027)
- Two or three months after year-end: balance of tax due (three months for most small Canadian-controlled private corporations)
- Most corporations must file the T2 electronically
Why it matters
- The small business deduction lowers the tax rate on active business income, but only when the return is filed correctly.
- Late filing costs 5% of the unpaid tax plus 1% a month, and interest is charged daily on late payments.
- Clean, on-time returns make bank loans, leases and government programs much easier to get.
